For the public comment period, each speaker is allowed three minutes, unless time is extended by the presiding officer. Speakers may not donate unused speaking time to another individual. The public comment period may be limited to 15 minutes.
Organizational representation is limited to one speaker during the public comment period. Similarly, groups supporting or opposing the same position must designate a single spokesperson to speak during the public comment period.
Written comments may also be submitted in lieu of, or in addition to, spoken comments. There is no limit regarding the number of individuals who may submit written comments on behalf of an organization or on behalf of a group supporting or opposing the same position.
Please note that the submission deadline is noon, two business days prior to the scheduled meeting date. Once your comment is submitted, you will receive a confirmation email from our staff within two business days, which will include further instructions and next steps.
