CALL FOR PRESENTERS Fall 2019 Learn24 Network Conference

Learn24 invites youth development professionals and experts to present at the Fall 2019 Learn24 Conference. We are seeking thought provoking speakers, subject matter experts and leaders to share best practices, innovative ideas, evidence-based research and other strategies that benefit out-of-school time youth development practitioners. Presentations that include youth as speakers or co-facilitators are strongly encouraged to apply. Apply to present today. Deadline for presenter proposals is: Friday, August 23, 2019.

The Institute for Youth Development supports and helps to build high quality programs in the District of Columbia. This one-day conference on October 11, 2019, is intended for a wide variety of youth development practitioners including executive directors, program managers and directors, as well as front line workers. Topics of interest include but are not limited to youth engagement, mental health, brain development, youth voice and choice, designing evidence-based programs, engaging older youth, staff management, positive leadership, capacity building and organizational development.

All information supplied may be used for printed materials for the conference.

All workshops are expected to be 75 minutes.

 

All submissions will be reviewed by the OST Office and notification regarding acceptance will be made by September 13, 2019.

 

Learn24 will provide the laptop, projector, flip chart paper, markers, post-its, participant pens, participant paper, and copies of handouts if information and requests are provided by Friday, September 27, 2019.
